Holy Name Men's Club

The Men's Club is dedicated to:

  • The spiritual development of members
  • Support for Holy Name
  • Financial assistance for HN Physical Education Dept.
  • Financial Assistance to parish sponsored athletic programs
  • Funding for other athletic programs voted on by the general membership

Requests for funding other than the above should be submitted to the advisory board at the monthly meeting. The advisory board will then determine if the request is feasible and financially possible and shall report such determination to the membership. This excludes the clubs normal operating expenditures.

The Men's Club also sponsors the "World Famous Frydays of Lent". The Holy Name Fish Fry is Omaha's largest fish fry, often serving over 2000 dinners, and an extraordinarily popular event.

General meetings are held in the cafeteria on the first Mondayof each month at 8:00pm. However, in March, meetings start at 6:00 with "Darts of March", and from April to September with horseshoe matches.
