MISSION STATEMENT  

The mission of Holy Name Catholic Elementary School 
is to educate children of diverse backgrounds to be 
academically  prepared, compassionate toward others, 
and rooted in the Catholic Christian community.


Holy Name School also offers:

PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS for both 3 and 4 year old students. Teachers are state certified and carry early childhood endorsements. DAYCARE: State licensed for 3 and 4 year old children, all day, everyday.

EDUCARE (EXTENDED DAY) ROOM provides before and after school care for students.

THE TECHNOLOGY CENTER  contains 27 computers. Every student has his/her own workstation. The lab is Networked with all classrooms & Internet access is available in every classroom

SCIENCE LAB available for science classes at all grade levels.

THE CHAPEL is a place of reflection and prayer for faculty and students.

THE LIBRARY /RESOURCE CENTER  is filled with a full array of resource and reading for enjoyment options for all ages. The Edney Reading Center is designed for relaxed and casual reading visits.

THE "LITTLE" GYM is used for primary P .E. classes, school assemblies, parents' meetings, and special events.

THE FIELD HOUSE is a regulation size gym available for PE classes and intermural and intramural sports.

2002 -2003 Enrollment Statistics 

There are 204 students from 131 families that currently attend Holy Name School. Assisting in faith instruction are the Redemptorist Priests and the Sisters of the Servants of Mary.
50% of Holy Name Students are of a minority race. 56% of Holy Name students qualify for free or reduced Federal lunch program.
The average class size at Holy Name is 18 students.  36% of Holy Name students are non-Catholic.
Tuition: $1572 for first child of Holy Name parishioners  $2220 for first child of non-parishioners
