From Our Pastor

Fr. Vitalis Anyanike

Welcome to our website. I hope you find it useful and inspiring. Holy Name Parish is a faith-filled Catholic community which proudly stands in the heart of Omaha’s Clairmont-Heights neighborhood. We are always open to welcome all those who are in search of a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. Our diverse community is united in the belief that together we all form the one Body of Christ. Our Church offers many programs and organizations, for all members of our neighborhood and community. We are grateful for the solid spiritual foundation laid by the Redemptorists and Servants of Mary Sisters who nurtured our parish and school community for many years. We delight in the rich heritage and steady growth of our diverse parish membership. Come and encounter Jesus, Son of the living God in the sacraments and scriptures, and be part of the social justice that turns love into action. Our School offers educational services from preschool through eighth grade, with a student body consisting of various Christian-faith backgrounds. If you are new to our neighborhood, or are simply looking for spiritual renewal through the Catholic faith, we encourage you to contact us or stop by and introduce yourself. You are always welcome at Holy Name. We are blessed. The Spirit of God is here among us, and Holy is His Name. May Our Redeemer and Mother of Perpetual Help ever bless and prosper you.
