Our church and
elementary school—which proudly stand in the heart of Omaha’s Clairmont
Heights neighborhood—are always open to welcome all those who are in search of
a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ.
Holy Name parish is an active Christian faith
community.
Our parish family comprises about 500 households of various ethnic and age
groups. We are blessed by an Anglo-American, African-American, Latino-American
and Asian-American presence. We are equally as blessed by a tremendous age
mixture, from young singles and couples to retired couples and seniors. Our
diverse community is united in the belief that together we all form the one Body
of Christ.
Our Church offers many active programs and organizations,
including youth and senior citizens groups, athletics, bowling and pinochle,
men’s and women’s clubs, bingo, choir, parish council, RCIA and religious
formation. Our School offers educational services from preschool level through
Eighth Grade, with an enrollment of 278 students from various Christian-faith
backgrounds.
If you are new to our neighborhood, or are simply
looking for spiritual renewal through the Catholic faith, we encourage you to
call us at 402-451-6622, or stop by and introduce yourself. You are always
welcome at Holy Name!
